rest of week 12

I went 2 of 3 over Thanksgiving and tomorrow's games have tight matchups with future playoff implications.
Steelers 30 Chiefs 13 (16). Steelers dominate.
Atlanta 27 Vikings 10 (15). Adrian Peterson is out and the Vikings offense will struggle.
Bengals 21 Browns 13 (14). Why is the media ignoring Andy Dalton?
Jets 24 Buffalo 7 (13). The Jets are fading but the Bills are speeding on the downhill run.
Houston 20 Jacksonville 17 (12). Houston will barely prevail by making Matt Leinart hand the ball off.
Patriots 20 Eagles 14 (11). Since Michael Vick is out the Patriots will squeak by.
Saints 28 Giants 21 (10). Saints at home will hang on to win.
Broncos 20 Chargers 14 (9). Tim Tebow won't need a miracle to win this game, just stupid plays from Phillip Rivers and he'll get it.
Bears 21 Raiders 17 (8). Even without Cutler the Bears will win with their defense.
Titans 27 Bucaneers 7 (7).
Seahwawks 20 Redskins 14 (6).
Cardinals 17 Rams 10 (4).
Panthers 20 Colts 10 (3).

Thanksgiving Day Games

Week 12 will have some of the tightest matchups this season and it starts with tomorrow's Thanksgiving day games. All three games will be close so I hope everyone has their thanksgiving meals early because there will be some exciting games to watch. Here are my picks:
Cowboys 24 Dolphins 20 (5). The improving Dolphins will keep this one close but Tony Romo's new found confidence will prevail.
Ravens 17 49ers 14 (2). I'm taking Jon Harbaugh to beat Jim since the Ravens are home and have played well in high profile games this season.
Lions 30 Packers 21 (1). Upset pick. The Lions beat Green Bay last year at home and will create enough pressure on Rodgers to win again this season. The Packers will still win the superbowl but not tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

week 11

I'm off to a bad start with the 'miracle worker" Tim Tebow pulling off another victory over the Jets. Mark Sanchez is making a real push to be the worst quarterback playing football at this time. In spite of this I intend to finish up strong and below are the rest of my picks.
Packers 35 Bucanneers 10 (14). Packers keep rolling.
49ers 21 Cardinals 10 (13). Jim Harbaugh will be coach of the year at the end of the season.
Cowboys 31 Redskins 14 (12). Redskins defense will keep it close in the first half and the cowboys dominate in the 2nd half.
Patriots 27 Chiefs 10 (11).
Giants 24 Eagles 10 (10). Eagles are fading and the Giants are seeking revenge for last year's devastating loss.
Bears 21 Chargers 14 (9). Phillip Rivers will find another way to lose the game against an improving Bears defense.
Lions 23 Panthers 17 (8). Lions are starting to decline but still have more talent than Carolina.
Baltimore 20 Bengals 10 (6). Even without Ray Lewis the Ravens get back on track after last week's loss.
Falcons 27 Titans 14 (5). Falcons are still a good team at home.
Dolphins 24 Bills 20 (4). Dolphins are rising and the Bills are falling.
Oakland 21 Vikings (3). Boring.
Jaguars 17 Browns 14 (2). Even more boring.
Seahawks 14 Rams 13 (1). I'm asleep

start of week 11

Jets 30 Broncos 14 (7). Tim Tebow won last week completing only two passes and God does not perform miracles every week.

week 10

I'm already off to a lousy start by picking that pathetic loser Phillip Rivers to beat Oakland. This is the toughest week yet to pick games with so many close matchups. Here we go.

Packers 24 Vikings 21 (16). Vikings at home keep it close but Packers keep their unbeaten streak going.
Jaguars 24 Colts 14 (15).
Ravens 27 Seahawks 20 (14). Ravens will get over their hangover of beating the Steelers just in time to win.
Eagles 28 Cardinals 10 (13). Eagles are in a must win game.
Saints 24 Falcons 20 (12). A little too many offensive weapons for Atlanta to handle
Steelers 21 Bengals 17 (11). Would like to be wrong but Pittsburgh's defense will make rookie QB Andy Dalton turnover the ball too many times.
Miami 24 Redskins 14 (10). It's too late but the Dolphins are starting to turn their season around.
Titans 21 Panthers 17 (9). I'll take the team with the veteran QB.
Houston 20 Bucaneers 17 (8).
Browns 21 Rams 14 (7).
49ers 21 Giants 17 (6). 49ers at home are the best team no one is talking about
Chargers 24 Raiders 14 (5)
Chiefs 21 Broncos 17 (4). Tebow will grab more headlines in both good and bad ways.
Chicago 27 Lions 21 (3). Will someone start giving Jay Cutler some credit.
Cowboys 24 Bills 21 (2). Which Cowboy team will show up. As long as they don't pass too much they should squeak by.
Jets 24 Patriots 17 (1). Close one but New England with no deep threat is starting to get exposed

thursday's game

San Diego 27 Raiders 20 (5). Phillip Rivers is a loser but Carson Palmer couldn't even beat Tim Tebow.

week 9

Now is the time in the season for the truly good teams to rise and separate themselves from the pretenders like what I will do this week as I plan to surge past my rivals. Some close games this week.
Atlanta 30 Colts 14 (14). Atlanta is bad on the road but the Colts could go winless this year.
Packers 28 Chargers 21 (13). Chargers will compete but Phillip Rivers will find another way to lose.
Saints 35 Tampa Bay 10 (12). Saints won't have two bad games in a row.
Raiders 24 Broncos 10 (11). Carson Palmer needs to get his form back and Tim Tebow needs to find another position to play.
Houston 21 Cleveland 17 (10).
49ers 24 Redskins 13 (9). Redskins decline will accelerate tomorrow.
Bengals 24 Titans 21 (8). I hope Andy Dalton starts getting some recognition.
Bills 28 Jets 21 (7).
Dallas 30 Seahawks 17 (6). Philly exposed Dallas's weakness on defense but the Seahawks don't have near enough offensive talent to take advantage.
Patriots 27 Giants 21 (5). I'm only taking New England since they are playing at home.
Eagles 31 Bears 17 (4). This is the time of season Philadelphia surges.
Miami 21 Chiefs 17 (3). Upset pick. Chiefs are overrated.
Rams 21 Cardinals 20 (2).
Steelers 28 Ravens 27 (1). Steelers will once again take advantage of Joe Flacco turnovers.
